New years eve… such celebration! five rooms in an old masonic temple to creep about in! ~*~creepcreepcreep~*~ the mutaytor show was packed! my tulle skirt proved troublesome in navigating around the stage… before the 2nd set, bad ass brad pinned my hem up more to save the day. i climbed up spires on walls, up lighting gear hanging precariously, crawled underneath crash symbols, captured no less than ten brady-butt shots and managed to stealthily squeeze out snippets to hold tight the memory of an amazing evening. people say such strange thingz to me… “look at how you… FLOR-ESS!” someone said to me in a blacklit stairway. “you smell like strawberry shortcake,” another said… strange smirksome words…three people said i smell like cake and i didn’t even eat sugar that day… i celebrated midnight on stage with my sweet mutants as confetti rained from the sky and we toasted each other with hugs and a champagne bottle passed between us. after the show, i went mad exploring…the place was a circus!! everyone came dressed as their dream, adding to the dreams of all of us… full flickers of wild fancy. i love these people and their boundless expression… but claustrophobia descended as i was surrounded by people shouting my name and hugging me as i made my way from the stage, most of who i did not know… brady yelled at girls to stop touching his ass, which made me laugh… we lead the lives of rockstars, where our only solace is the red muppet VIP room. fun & scary all at the same time~ the others started leaving. roo & mutie came to join us and soon the lights came on. wide brooms swept up the confetti from the stage, blacklights were switched off and the security guards turned rabid. we collected our things and drove home hiding most unsuccessfully from the dawn of a new year…
